Attack on the Yandex Data Center: I Identified This Target on August 1
On the night of October 8, a drone brought Yandex’s data center in Sasovo to a halt—this was the first time a data center had been targeted in Russia. Two months ago, on August 1, I published a forecast that explicitly identified the direction of the attack: from oil refineries to data centers, with the targets being Yandex’s server capacity, Gosuslugi, and banks. I’ll quote it verbatim and show which items on that list haven’t happened yet, why power outages under the pretext of security will follow next, and how this is connected to the mobilization of people for war.
